CHAIRMAN

MICHAEL MARX FCA

Over 21 years as CEO of Development Securities Plc, Michael oversaw the growth of the company to a market cap of £350m. Michael previously acted as Finance Director and Commercial Director for 13 years at Heron International, and was for 3 years a member of the FSA Listing Authority Advisory Committee.

 

HDG are pleased to be working with Michael, one of the most respected property professionals in the industry, who is ideally placed to oversee the growth of the business.

CEO, FOUNDER

SIMON HAMILTON BSC (Hons) MRICS

Simon gained a background in finance at Deloitte before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor (Planning & Development). After gaining experience at BNP Paribas Real Estate and Development Securities Plc, Simon launched Hamilton Development Group in 2010.

 

As CEO, Simon has responsibility for establishing and executing the group business plan, and directly oversees all projects.

HEAD OF FINANCE AND INVESTMENTS

KARIM SUTTON DPHIL

Karim gained a background in financial modelling at Telereal Trillium before moving to Argent Related as a lead analyst on the £7Bn Brent Cross Town regeneration scheme - a joint venture with the London Borough of Barnet.

As Head of Finance and Investments, Karim has responsibility for new business along with existing investor reporting and relations.

HEAD OF STRATEGIC PLANNING

HOWARD HAMILTON

Howard has substantial experience in both the real estate and international high fashion sectors. Through his background in real estate investment and development, combined with a keen attention to detail from his successful fashion business, Howard has delivered multiple developments which have set a precedent for new values in the local area, and has particular experience with the regeneration of listed buildings. 

 

Howard holds a masters degree in business studies, has taught on several MBA courses and attends the Ex.Ed Real Estate program at Harvard Business School
